Hello, lovely humans! A few months ago, I purchased a MUZMM backpack. I’ve used this bag on several trips throughout Japan, a trip to Taiwan, as well as my recent two-week America trip. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, and feel it’s now appropriate to review this MUZMM backpack after it’s seen some action.

Pros

Size: Perfect size for for minimal packers. As someone who loves to travel light, having a backpack that fits everything for several days is great. It’s not too big and can be used as a carry-on on most flights.

Material: It doesn’t stain easily, deflects dirt, is durable, and deflects water. Although the bag is not advertised as being water-resistant, my experience walking in a storm for a couple hours and having all of my belongings stay dry made me a happy camper.

Comfortable: Carrying the backpack for about 10 hours didn’t cause any unusual discomfort, aside from what is typically experienced by having anything on your back for a long period of time.

Versatile: In a matter of minutes, the MUZMM backpack can be seamlessly converted into a duffle-style bag and slung over your shoulder. I love how easily I can alter the way it’s carried based on location or form of transportation.

Top-opening: As the main compartment opens from the top rather than the front, there is more space to store belongings. Your belongings don’t fall out of the bag when opening thanks to this subtle yet smart feature.

Cons

Design: When switching from duffle to backpack, your back may get a tad dirty if the bag has been placed on the ground. It’s a minor detail, but putting something that’s been touching the ground onto your back may not sit well with some.

________

An additional plus is that MUZMM ships internationally. I ordered my MUZMM backpack on a Monday and received it on a Friday. Being based in Japan and the company operating out of the United States, I expected delivery to take a couple weeks, but was pleasantly surprised with the speed of delivery.
